Who we are
Nicos in the Worx is an outdoor power equipment repair and service workshop based at 354 Calliandra Street, Montana, Pretoria, South Africa. You can reach us at workshop@nicosoutdoor.com.
What we collect
When you make a pre-booking we collect only what we need to do the job:
- Your name and surname
- Contact number and email address
- Machine details (type, brand, engine, 2-stroke / 4-stroke)
- Optional photos of your machine that you choose to upload
- Your collection address, only if you ask us to collect and deliver
- The booking date and slot you select
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm and complete your repair or service
- To contact you about your booking by email, phone or WhatsApp
- To calculate a collection and delivery fee based on your address distance
- To keep a record of work done on your equipment
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.
Service providers
We use trusted providers purely to run the booking system: secure cloud hosting and database storage for your booking record and photos, an email delivery service to send booking confirmations, and Google Maps to measure the distance to your collection address. These providers process the data only on our instruction.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as needed to service your equipment and honour any workmanship guarantee, and are then deleted. Photos you upload are deleted together with the booking.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email workshop@nicosoutdoor.com and we will action it. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
Security
Booking data is stored in an access-controlled database. Only the workshop owner account can view customer bookings and uploaded photos. Data is encrypted in transit.
Children
This service is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the booking service means you accept the updated policy.
